The information can be provided by you upon commencement of your work or during the engagement. In most cases, Prosperitus will collect your name, contact details and financial information prior to our engagement.
Prosperitus collects information when you engage the organisation so that Prosperitus may provide you with a financial plan and other primary purpose services.
Prosperitus may collect information via telephone, fax or email.
When you post Prosperitus information, we may store the contents to help in the preparation of your financial plan or the purchase and sale of your investments. We may record your postal address, email address or fax number, and contact you and send you our newsletters.
What information do we collect from our website?
When you submit information to our site, Prosperitus will collect personally identifiable information from you that may include your name, business and company name, email address, residential and business addresses and other such information necessary to provide you with the services offered by the site.
As a general principle, Prosperitus will only collect personally identifiable information that is needed to operate the site, to provide you with the services offered by the site, and to communicate to you information and services that Prosperitus believe would be of interest to you.
Prosperitus automatically collects IP addresses and website usage information from visitors to the site. This information helps us to evaluate how visitors and subscribers use and navigate the site on an aggregate basis, including the number and frequency of visitors and subscribers to each web page and the length of their visits.
What happens if you do not provide the information?
Prosperitus will be unable to advise you accurately or offer the service requested.
Prosperitus collects the information to provide you with a specific service. For example, we may use the information you provide us to complete your financial plan and other related services.
Why does Prosperitus collect the information and how is your information used by Prosperitus?

Prosperitus may provide personal information to MGI White Hancock to allow the firm to complete the financial statements, income tax returns or other matters that you have requested they attend to.
Prosperitus does not engage subcontractors and therefore will not provide any personal information to them.
Information may be disclosed to stockbrokers and fund managers to facilitate investment transactions.
Prosperitus develops aggregate (i.e. not individual) reports, which incorporates some of the information. The reports are for use by our business partners. However, these reports do not include any personally identifiable information.
How will Prosperitus keep your personal information secure?
Prosperitus has security measures designed to protect against the loss, misuse and/or alteration of the information under its control.
These security measures are:
- Restricted access: Our computer network is protected by a password system with regular changes, which are enforced
- Anti-virus software: This software is installed on our computer network and is updated daily
- Servers: Our main data storage areas are protected from loss of power by uninterruptable power supply units
- System updates: Computer operating system updates are installed regularly to maintain a high level of data protection
- Prosperitus has installed an internet firewall to protect our computer network against computer hackers and intruders.
- Prosperitus has clauses in employee agreements requiring confidentiality.
Correcting and updating your profile
Prosperitus gives you the following options for accessing and modifying information previously provided.
- You may gain access to information that Prosperitus has collected about you by contacting the person named below. Prosperitus will not charge you for responding to such a request, unless we incur costs in providing the information.
- You may also contact us via mail, fax or email to notify us of any corrections or updates to the information we hold.
How do I make a complaint?
